Baptism at the Beach

This past Sunday night our church headed out to Hunting Island State Park to do dinner and baptism. We have these every couple of months and it is absolutely amazing. To see people, young and old getting baptized in the ocean is one of my favorite things our church does. I grew up in a pretty traditional church where we baptized in a "baptisimal" (is that a word?) A big tank filled with warm water "in" the church usually behind the stage. Being baptized is a great experience regardless of where it is held but to be baptized in God's own creation is beyond words.

Ally and Chase love going to the beach and really enjoy being there with all their church family and friends. As you can see in the pictures Chase is chowing down on some grapes and Ally has found a new fav for the beach-cherries! In the last couple of pictures of Chase he is CRACKING UP! Lucas, a student in the youth ministry was trying to stand on a football and would try and balance and then fall over and C thought that was the best thing EVER!











And this one last picture! My mom is completely freaking out right now at the fact that Ally is by herself in the ocean and I'm taking Chase's picture. Right mom? My inbox is filling up right now.
