July 20th really?

This summer has flown by. We did the youth camp thing with the teenagers up in Possum Kingdom, SC, then Shane's mother, grandparents from Texas and friends visited us the day after we came home from camp to spend the 4th of July. The Sunday after the 4th they drove Ally back to Miami where my MIL lives and she stayed 10 whole days. She did much better than I expected although she was super busy with swimming lessons, swimming some more and a few other cool places. She flew home last week. So now we're trying to get back to our "normal" routine.

Planning for the new MOPS(mother's of preschoolers) year has begun. I am head of the hospitality team and am in charge of decorations, welcome packets and all that fun stuff. This year is called Life on Planet MOM and we are dealing with relationships of all different kinds. How our roles change when we become wives, moms, daughter in laws and so on. I'm excited, I think it's gonna be great.

Shane and I also got to get away for a couple of days to Charlotte, NC and on Sunday we visited Elevation Church. They were the 2nd fastest growing church in America in 2008. When we were there he started a new series called Cow Tipping. Unveiling the sacred cows in the church. The pastor was really real and I can appreciate that. Everyone at the church was super nice and excited. We also met up with some friends from Savannah that just so happened to visit the church the same day. Awesome huh? We had lunch with them and really enjoyed our Sunday.

So sorry again!
