Baths

Is it normal for kids to want to take 18 baths a day? My kids are in bath mode, it's all they want to do. Maybe it's because it's too cold to swim in a pool? Who knows BUT it allows me to get a lot of reading and listening to sermons in(and not a lot of laundry done, sorry hunny). I was listening to an old Mother's Day message and she said you know you're a mother when your children have had 2 baths today and you haven't showered in 2 days. So true.

I just finished Crazy Love by Francis Chan and it is AMAZING. This book is challenging to me to a whole new place in my walk with Christ. LUUUVVVEDDDD it. I'm currently reading the second book(the first one was Crazy Love) that is a part of BLOOM book club. The book is called Same Kind of Different As Me by Ron Hall and Denver Moore. It is really good so far. You should check out the book club. Angie Smith and Jessica Turner tell you what chapters to read and then a deadline and then they video themselves talking about the chapters and then we all discuss it on the boards. It's a lot of fun!

And lastly I am reading Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World by Anna Weaver. WOW. just. WOW. I'm sorry to tell you but she wrote the book for me specifically. However, I will allow you all to read and enjoy. No, really it has spoken directly to my spirit and I'm only on Chapter 3. I've read chapter 3 several times because I REALLY want to absorb what God is trying to teach me. I am without a doubt a big time worrier. But, it's all about to change. Why? because it's doubting God, the number one commandment, Fear Not, and hindering me from God's heart and I don't want any part of that. I was going to change my 2009 Resolutions that are on my desktop to just say 2010 since I didn't accomplish as much as i wanted to this year but I've decided to keep it simple. Here are my 3 "resolutions":
1. Be anxious about nothing.
2. Be prayerful about everything.
3. Be thankful for all things.

Hope everyone is having a great 2010. I pray God opens your eyes to what He wants you to see this year.
