Ally first week of her kindergarten year is complete. Check that one off of our list. She did so great. Waking up in the mornings were a bit rough because she was used to sleeping in till around 8. This morning (Friday) she woke up on her own at 6:55 and we had a great morning. She doesn't like to eat breakfast first thing so that is a bit challenging. We'll figure this out! She did great on her first test. She had to memorize Exodus 20:12 Honor thy Father and thy Mother. I love that they have to memorize scripture each week, hiding the word in her heart. Her favorite thing about school so far is that you get to eat with your friends and puzzles and least favorite thing about school is the rules like not talking. She is definitely Shane's child. Here are a couple of pictures of her in different uniforms. Friday is "fun Friday" and they get to wear bright colored school shirts.
Day 3 Lunch~Peanut Butter Sandwich, Cucumbers, Goldfish, and chocolate chip cookies
Day 4 Lunch~Cheese quesadilla, apples w/ peanut butter and a brownie.
Goodbye kisses and hugs for the brother. He was crying because he couldn't go.
Day 5 Lunch ~ Peanut Butter sandwich(by request), Cheese and grapes, cookies, yogurt and fruit snacks.

My hubby and my oldest rarely eat breakfast, and I mean rarely! My youngest always ate it, stopped for awhile and now is eating it again.
I love the cute sandwich shapes you make! What a fun way to say "I love you!"
BTW, my husband is a pastor and I am the nursery coordinator, so we have something in common I see!
